Types of Trim

• Crown Molding – Installed between the wall and the ceiling to provide a more opulent and luxurious transition between the two surfaces.
• Chair Rail – Installed on the wall to protect it against wear from chairs in the vicinity (usually in kitchens and dining rooms).
• Wainscoting – Installed at waist or chest height on walls to transition between wall coverings or materials or as an accent.
• Wall Frame Molding – Installed as an accent and empty on a wall to look like a picture frame or with wallpaper inside.
• Panel Moulding – Installed as a pleasing accent to fill empty space.
