My example is; I put together a "quilt" that I use to drape the gurney when doing removals. I never thought much of it, other than that it just added some decorum to one of the more sombre tasks I have to perform. Wouldn't you know, I've had more feedback on that quilt than I ever anticipated - and all positive. From the nurses on the palliative floors, to the family members that are present for the removal, people have really responded to that quilt. I think it just goes to show that even the smallest efforts and moments of thoughtfulness don't go unnoticed.?
